Paul Winder
Development & Acquisitions Manager
Paul Winder
Joined the team: 2016
Paul has worked at Residential Estates for many years, starting in January 2016. He has worked for over 20 years in the property industry in a variety of markets, both overseas and in the UK.
Prior to joining Residential Estates, Paul was based in Cape Verde working on an investment option for a major hotel chain located in Sal. He was introduced to the property industry in 2003 when he started to gain experience in all areas of the business including UK and overseas property, gaining an in-depth knowledge of how the market works.
For the first 5 years Paul was one of our Senior Investment Consultants, but also helped and applied his knowledge to support the short term let department giving a viewpoint of what all parties need when it comes to investing in this revenue stream option
In the consultants role, Paul was responsible for finding out what a client needs and then finding a property that suits the client's requirements. He is able to answer any property questions and aims to give good and honest advice to all his clients, building a relationship based on trust.
Although still working with his own network of clients, all the experience has led Paul into the role as Residential Estates' Development and Acquisitions Manager and is now responsible for sourcing and working with developers, aiming to introduce new developments to the market. The market is ever-changing and Paul ensures that Residential Estates does the same in order to adapt and continue providing a constant service. Paul seeks to ensure that each development portrays its investor worth, whether it may be yield based or growth-focused. He strikes to build exclusive relationships with developers and sellers allowing us to offer options that nobody else on the market can offer.
This role is exciting as you have to find that balance that means the developers see the point in working with us and offering investors opportunities to buy off market, and generally at options that they would never be able to source online or through normal avenues, meaning all parties get what they need and when we get that balance right we create unique relationships that provide quality and profitable investments for our investors.
Pauls ultimate aim is to make sure he has options for all investors that provides a solution for what the investor wants, putting square pegs into square holes, and that means a diversified sales portfolio.
In his spare time, you can find him looking for adventures in the world of long-distance cycling and over the last 2 years has completed ultra-endurance events spanning 2800 miles and raising over £5k for local charities.
